My Favorite Recipe
My Review of this Recipe
I find this to be one of the most enjoyable recipes that I've come across, with tangy pizza sauce, stretchy cheese, delicious ham, sprinkles of salty bacon, and a cornmealed pizza dough, this recipe makes for an incredible experience every single bite.
- pizza dough
- 1 Tablespoon of Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of cornmeal
- 1/2 cup Pizza Sauce
- 1 and a half cup of mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of canadian bacon or ham, sliced or chopped
- 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks, freshly sliced or store bought
- 1 /2 of bacon, crumbled.
- 2 Cups of Cheddar Chees
Time for a cheesy, stretchy, salty sweet treat.

Preheat your oven to 475degrees fahrenheit, give your oven time to heat up while you prepare and shape your pizza, grease a baking sheet or pizza pan with half a tablesoon of olive oil and sprinkle it with the cornmeal for that extra crunch and flavor on the crust. Prepare your pizza dough, press or punch it down to release any air bubbles, and divide it in half to save the rest for later. Take the half you're using and flatten it with either floured hands or a rolling pin into a neat even disc, Place it onto the pan and stretch it into half inch thick 12 inch long circle. Once it's properly shaped lift the edge of the dough and create a lip around the edges, or pinch the edges to keep it simple. Give it time to rest while you gather the topings. Once the toppings are gathered, push dents into the surface of the dough to prevent bubbling, brush it all with the remaining half tablespoon of olive oil and spread the pizza sauce evenly, then finally add on the toppings. Bake for 14-15 minutes or until crust is golden brown then slice while hot and serve. Get ready for some amazing flavour.

Finally appreciating pineapple on pizza
It's been a long time coming, but finally people are starting to see the light of the pineapple, and surprisingly, not just on pizza! It's often that people tend to malign pineapples as not belonging on anything, as this article brings up, the Hawaiian is a highly controversial dish, but others managed to ruffle feathers by bringing up that pineapple used to be a prize ingredient in breakfast recipes for old wealthy english families!
Despite the hate the pineapple gets, in Naples earlier, near the beginning of this year, Gino Sorbillo, belonging to one of the oldest pizza chef families in Naples, put pineapple on a white pizza without tomato or ham! A bold choice if i do say so myself, but why would he do such a thing, such a renowned purveyor of culinary arts and taste? Well, I'll tell you why. It's because it tastes GREAT, the thing is, sweet and savoury just works, and I, Gino, and the writer of the news article agrees, if you can put pineapple on a ham, why not put both on a pizza? There isn't much of a reason not to outside of personal taste, some people are right, and some people like pineapple on things. It's just the way of the world, so if you've ever had second thoughts about it, well you certainly should now with such a culinary talent in pineapple's corner. Come on, give it a try, sweet and savoury, cheesy, stretchy goodness is naught but a phone call or a few hours following a recipe away, your choice amica
My Favorite Picnic Spot
One of my favourite ways to enjoy a pizza is somewhere nice and quiet, but I don't mind staying somewhere with a little bit more noise. So, check out the Elk Island National Park, you've got beautiful sights, mirror perfect lakes, and wildlife to see. If you're in Edmonton, get on the 16 Yellowhead highway. Once you're on it just keep it steady and pay attention to the signage, the turn into the Elk Island Road and get ready for a good time.
